San Francisco, CA (Tuesday, July 17, 2018) – Nex Cubed (www.nex3.com), an innovation platform that empowers entrepreneurs to bring new technologies to market, helps rising companies scale, and provides paths to liquidity, has added iSport360, Inc. (www.iSport360.com), an innovative youth sports technology company, to its portfolio of frontier technology companies.  This is Nex Cubed’s 26th investment since it’s launch in early 2017.

“Nex Cubed offered us the people, resources and expertise we need to scale our platform,” said Ian Goldberg, Co-Founder and CEO of iSport360.    iSport360 is a youth sports platform that helps coaches, parents and kids set goals, share player feedback, and conduct objective player evaluations.  There are currently 1,200 teams on the platform across 8 major sports.   The company also boasts 55,000 subscribers to its informative and frequently funny sports-parenting blog, which recently added Marriott International as its first paid advertiser.  “With 80 million youth sport coaches, parents and players in the US alone, we have barely scratched the surface,” Goldberg added.

“We look for bold teams of entrepreneurs who are taking serious risks to solve real problems, and iSport360 checks all the boxes,” says Marlon Evans, CEO of Nex Cubed.  Nex Cubed helps companies scale by providing resources, capital and a network of incredibly valuable experts, mentors and investors.  Additionally, with its focus on “Frontier Technology,” Nex Cubed helps companies embrace artificial intelligence and machine learning and use it to differentiate and propel their software platforms.  “With machine learning, iSport360 can deliver even more valuable and customized experiences to coaches, parents and kids in youth sports,” added Evans, who is a passionate sports dad and former college football player.

Evans also works with Nex Cubed portfolio companies to set their Social Impact strategy.  With the support and guidance of Nex Cubed, iSport360 plans to offer its product for free to youth sport coaches and families in underserved communities.  The company is seeking current and former professional athletes to help accelerate this initiative.
