In the last few weeks, we’ve “Dared You To Chill” on the sidelines of your kids games, we’ve shared some great video where kids share how they feel when their parents scream from the sidelines, and now we are learning about a campaign called “Silent Saturdays”. And I encourage you to give it a try! Silent Saturdays asks parents and coaches to take the noise levels down a notch during their games and let our young players think for themselves. It also keeps the stress and emotion levels in check during the games. Psychologists support it, educators support it and I do to. So please, encourage your players to work hard, play hard and have fun…..but let’s keep the volume down on the sidelines and just enjoy watching our kids play. See the full report here.
