iSport360 and The Terror of Tryout Season 😬

isport360-youth-sports

As a sports parent and coach, I know how complicated youth sports can be at times. So I’d like to share some helpful articles that shed light on the challenges we face… and some funny ones that might even give us an opportunity to laugh at ourselves. Please enjoy… and please click here to try our iSport360 app, which helps coaches, kids and parents set goals, share player feedback and track player progress throughout the season. Our goal is simple: to help kids have more success, more confidence, and more fun.

Thank You To Hockey Canada For Reminding Us: “It’s Just A Game!”

No sports parent likes being told what to do… but it doesn’t hurt to have a laugh while watching videos of what NOT to do. So thank you to Hockey Canada for creating a campaign about how parents SHOULD NOT behave at their kids’ games. So let’s remember: It’s Just A Game. Click here to watch the video.

The White House Wants Your Opinion… Really!!!😲😲😲

It’s not everyday that representatives of the White House ask you for your opinions on how to improve youth sports. But today is your BIG day! In fact, Executive Order 13824 details the administration’s aim to expand and encourage youth sports participation through its Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition. And now you have until April 1 to submit ideas through this link to the Department of Health and Human Services website. Executive Director Holli Richmond and the Council will then review your input and begin to roll out a national, state and local strategy. Don’t miss this chance to voice your thoughts, ideas, opinions.
