Howie's relationships and access will help iSport scale quickly.
“Howie brings relationships and a level of access in the professional sports community that will help iSport360 scale quickly,” said Ian Goldberg, Founder and CEO of iSport360. "Especially since we are developing a version of the iSport360 app for football, our 9th team sport, Howie’s network will be invaluable to the launch, marketing and scale of our football product.”
Launched in 2016, iSport360 is a startup in the incredibly fast-growing youth SportsTech category. Its app improves the youth sports experience for coaches, parents and kids. It does this by providing objective sports standards, a fair player evaluation tool and a platform for sharing ongoing feedback. The company has nearly 25,000 registered app users and subscribers to its informative, and frequently funny, sports-parenting newsletter. Its second round of funding set to close by July. Its investors include Silicon Valley angels, pro sports personalities and innovators in the entertainment and media industries. With the new investment, iSport360 will dramatically expand marketing campaigns and continue to pursue partnerships with professional sports teams, youth sport governing bodies and non-profit organizations that improve youth sports and sports parenting.
